Happy Retirement, Brad!

by Gordon Miller

The BC Jr Lakers want to wish General Manager Brad Parker a happy retirement!

Stepping down, after several years as our GM and even more as our Head Coach before that, Brad has had a long history with and love of the game of lacrosse.  He began his sports career as a Burnaby Cablevision player, with whom he became a Minto Cup winner, before he went on and played Sr A with the New West Salmonbellies. After retiring as a player, Brad moved on to coach minor lacrosse in Maple Ridge, Intermediate and Jr A teams in New West, and then our Jr A and Jr B Lakers teams before taking over as General Manager.

We want to thank Brad for all that he’s brought to our team, sharing his passion for the game and setting us up for success.  He will be missed and we hope to see him out at a game soon.

Taking over as GM for the 2023 season is Ken Woollard.  More details to follow.
